I love MJD, he was a great player here and the face of the franchise for a long time, but it was clear from watching him on the field the last two seasons that he's wrung out.

 

Sure he can still make a 40 yard run if there's no one he seriously needs to outrun as was the case in the preseason, but he took a beating here (and was handsomely rewarded for it) so I hope he'll take his retirement and enjoy the rest of his life with some semblance of his health soon.
