Wouldn't load the site on my phone app. But Manziel has played worse than Tebow he deserves all the critism and more coming his way.

The only people who need the criticism are the front office guys who took a project in the first round. The same with the Devner front office, the Manziel pick will ultimately cost them their employment.

Wasn't it the owner that said a homeless guy told him to pick Manziel?

Are we implying that the homeless guy will lose his job?

Yikes, Merrill Hoge just put a verbal beat down on Johnny Football, no doubt about that.

I'm not a fan of JFF, but was that really necessary?

I survived the Gus Bradley Error.

Not really.

But Hoge tries too hard to be THAT guy.

Hoge is right on Johnny Football to some degree.  What worked for Johnny in college will be much less effective in the NFL.  I would not go so far to say he should have been a 7th round pick, as Hoge does.  Johnny needs development and experience to improve his QB skills and read defenses to have any kind of success.

Johnny as a 7th round talent is just absolutely disrespectful, wrong, and stupid. I would've taken him in the 3rd round without hesitation. In the 3rd round, He is well worth the gamble. (this not accounting for his actions in the preseason)

Now, adding in what we've seen in the preseason/training camp, Id still say atleast 4th. He could still manage to become a decent QB

It doesnt matter if he's right or wrong about Manziel, like pretty much all ESPN and NFL.com pundits, Hoge is a tool trying to make his name relevant.

I agree with every word he said. Especially since Manziel has made it easy for everyone to dislike him. His arrogance is only exceeded by his lack of talent

Hoge likes to say things in a harsh tone just to get people to look at him.

It's crazy he has turned out this way.  When he played for the Steelers he was always a tough nosed player and never came across this way.

Even if he's right about something now, it's hard to watch him without thinking he's a total blow hard.

I used to love watching the "Matchup" show with him, Jaworski, and Kolber on Sunday mornings.

Guess that particular program had a little too much "sport" in it for ESPN's liking.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!
