The Broncos wide receiver violated the league's performance-enhancing drugs policy, Albert Breer reports.

They should've signed Stephen Hill to offset the loss.

He should protect his brain and the need to do these things, and just retire already.

Funny thing is he said he took it at the Kentucky derby. Didn't he win like 50k that day?

He shouldn't have taken that "get well soon gift" from Belechik after his most recent concussion. :woot:

Trust me, Welk. This European aspirin is the best stuff for concussions.

Not sure I understand- is Molly itself a banned substance? It apparently is cut with amphetamines which are obviously banned but what about the Molly/Ecstasy itself?

At any rate, Molly is an illegal substance so there's a surprisingly huge lack of judgment there. He also certainly shows a lack of sense to willingly take something that may alter his brain's function, especially given his concussion history. How stupid is Wes Welker? SMH.

Maybe Belichick knew/suspected more than anyone else and elected to let him leave. IIRC, the money difference that Denver paid was not much.

Wouldn't it be out of his system by now?

Also, for him to get the four game suspension he must have been put in the program for failing a drug test earlier in his career.

They say (rumour) that he took a molly at the K derby that was cut with it... he denies it.... but seems the most likely to be true ... other than the so called spiked drink..

Makes sense why he was handing out so much money that day..

It's only 4 games though... isn't Ace's suspension just 4 games as well?

There must have been some sort of prior, right?

I was under the impression that the first infraction gets you into the program (frequent random testing) , the second infraction gets you the 4 game suspension.

It was a PED infraction due to the MDMA being cut with amphetamines, which is categorized as a banned substance in the CBA for performance enhancing drugs. That's an automatic 4 game suspension.

Now had it been pure molly he would've just gotten placed in the stage 1 program under the substance abuse policy.

He was tested shortly after the Derby.  They've known this was coming.
