Big Ten divisions

These East and West divisions are absolutely terrible. Wisconsin has such a cake-walk schedule. How can you play in the B1G but manage to avoid playing Michigan, Ohio St., Michigan St., and Penn St.?

Thats the downside to bigger conferences.

Quote:True, but they could have done a better job balancing the conferences. They tried that before and nobody knew which team was in which division. The East does have more of the traditional powers though. ________________________________________________ Scouting well is all that matters. Draft philosophy is all fluff. Quote:They tried that before and nobody knew which team was in which division. The East does have more of the traditional powers though. They could have done North and South divisions that would have made things much more balanced. North: Michigan, Michigan St., Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Northwestern, Purdue South: Ohio St., Penn St., Nebraska, Indiana, Illinois, Maryland, Rutgers Or swap Iowa with Rutgers. It doesn't have to be geographically perfect if it means much better balance. The Big Ten didn't want to break up the Ohio St. vs Michigan rivalry, though. It would have made it that much more sweet if/when the two meet up for the Big Ten championship, though.
Wisconsin had to get by a VERY young LSU and looks like they will. Now they have to win the B10C game. Must be nice 2 games they have to win
.FSU has murderers row compared to this

Michigan has to play @Ohio St., @MichiganSt., and @Notre Dame this season. None of which are walk in the parks. |
