No

I care more about him keeping his job.

In addition,  the Lions released LB Julian Stanford and the 49ers released WR/ Special Teams Ace Kassim Osgood.   Stanford could be back via the Practice Squad.

The good news regarding former Jaguars on the Lions roster is that in addition to starter Rashean Mathis and potential starter C.J. Mosley,   2 others made the post cutdown to 53 roster:  Montell Owens and Don Carey.

Regarding Derek Cox,  he's expected to re-sign with the Ravens as soon as tomorrow:

He made it,  at least through today.   The following are the 49ers cuts/ transactions:

My gut feeling is G Adam Snyder will get another NFL opportunity.

Another name I saw on the cuts today was Uche released from Dallas.

Shame to hear about Jalen and Lane. I always liked both guys. Lane seems like such a good guy from his columns, it really is a shame he just isn't good enough to stick.

Another former Jag was Josh Vaughan who got cut from the Falcons. He was in Duval for a cup of coffee a few pre-seasons ago. I liked him when he was with the Jags. Thought he might be able to develop into a suitable third back/fourth option (behind the fullback) for a short while. Really surprised to see him stick around so long.
