Offensive Line with Depth
|
LT-----Joeckel,Wells
LG----Beadles C------Bowanko,McClendon,Linder RG----Linder RT----Bradfield,Pasztor,Young I would say Young and Wells are on the BIG BUBBLE. But who knows! We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Ima be sick. On the brightside, it won't be long til Henne is killed and Bortles is inserted
Things will come together. I don't think pass protection will be the biggest issue though. Running the football will be the trick.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
As of 6pm on Friday, the Jags have made 18 moves public. However, they still have 56 on the roster. There are at least 3 more moves to be made.

Next offseason will be focused on offensive line and another pass rusher or two.

Quote:LT-----Joeckel,Wells Hopefully Wells is on the PS. Young hasn't impressed me. I'd say they go 9 deep and pick up someone on waivers, at least until Paz is back. In addition, I wouldn't be surprised if a young athletic TE is also something the Jaguars make a concerted effort finding.

Hopefully we can wear them down with Gerhorse and unleash Drob. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Well, with only four players left to waive it looks like rookie Marcel Jensen made it as their #3 TE. He's basically the same size as Marcedes and fits the bill well for a young, athletic TE with good hands.

The youth on the offense is crazy. Look at the WR !!!! We may really have something in a couple of years all the way down. Imagine the rookie contracts coming to a end though. I think we would be glad to pay them if this works out. Rotoworld Cowboys released G Uche Nwaneri and TE Asa Watson. Nwaneri, 30, was never a good bet to crack an offensive line that's as deep and talented as any in the league. He should still be able to find work after putting together a decent 16-start season in Jacksonville last year. Oh well we could do this. What do you see as Marcel Jensen's roles with the Jaguars this season if he remains on the 53 man roster and what do you think his upside potential is? Warjag, if all of the Jaguars WR's from this year's crop pan out, my guess is at least one of them will be signed before the start of his 4th NFL season. With another being signed before the end of his 4th regular season. I'll be surprised under this scenario if more than one of the 3 WR's hits the market as an UFA, if all are productive and effective. It would certainly be a pleasant problem for the Jaguars brass to have. It's when players that don't pan out for one reason or another that often creates situations in which Free Agency is necessary and expensive to properly fill holes. The waiver wire don't look to promising. I guess that is why its called cut day :whistling: Quote:What do you see as Marcel Jensen's roles with the Jaguars this season if he remains on the 53 man roster and what do you think his upside potential is? I expect Jensen to be active and to get plenty of action early for a rookie as long as Clay Harbor remains out.

Quote:We pick up at least one OL from waivers, possibly two didn't happen. Our waiver claims consisted of....... Mickey Shuler..... and thats it. ![]() Quote:didn't happen. You should let it bother you. Bang your head against a brick wall.
Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

When the rookie contracts expire David Caldwell should not have any problem keeping his players around if they stay healthy and productive because it seems like everyone loves to work for Bradley. But first things first, how many times will he exercise the fifth year option on a rookie contract? |
