If every GM in the league called Caldwell tomorrow...

...and told him that Dave could have any one player from their team in a straight up trade for Bortles - what would you want Dave to do?

Personally, I would want him to laugh and hang up the phone on each call.

From what I've seen so far, I wouldn't trade him for any of the other top 10 picks in the draft including Clowney.

I thought this was a dumb question... Then I thought about it. Only one I could think of was Luck. Rodgers is interesting, too

Elite franchise QB's are soo hard to find, theres nothing they could give him to make it a viable trade

Rodgers is the only one I would consider at this point. Still relatively young and already in the "elite" category.

Make it a conference call with Gus and Shad so they can all get a good laugh

Meh, Rogers will be 31 soon. I'd rather keep Bortles.

Luck? Is that a joke. I think Bortles has a way higher ceiling than Luck.

Rodgers is the only one

Hard to believe everyone is having a hard time figuring who they'd trade him for considering he's going to be sitting on our bench

I love Bortles just as much as you guys but he hasn't played in a real game yet. To say you wouldn't trade Bortles for Luck is nuts. I hate that Luck is in the Colts because we will always have to compete against him and he's very very good. Did you see the Chiefs playoff game?

I am so glad we have Bortles but saying you wouldn't trade him for Luck is like saying you wouldn't trade Wiggins for Durant.

Okay, I get that you think highly of Bortles. An I'm with you, dude. I'm excited, too. But to question whether I "was joking" or not is absurd. Luck has been in the playoffs twice and threw for more yards than anyone else in their first two years. Playing with trash on offense and defense. It's not like I said Alex Smith. Luck isn't bad, Bortles could be better. But let's not act like I'd trade him for trash like Geno Smith or Derek Carr. I dig the enthusiasm though

I sure hope Blake ends up being better than Luck but until Blake plays a playoff game and wins... He won't be better than him.

He's ours, all ours, ours, ours, ours!

Rodgers, Luck, and Wilson I think are the only one's you would really consider.

Brees, Brady, and Manning too old.  Kaep, Stafford, and Cam are maybe too inconsistent.
