Blind?  He must be in a coma.  Geno Smith is terrible.  If Vick isn't named stater something is wrong. *Originally from NY and not many (if any) of my friends like Smith....

The problem here is that you're friends with a jets fan...

LOL... wonder if he'll be happy or mad watching Vick lead them to better fortunes?

Mutual friends, not really close or anything.

I still think Geno is going to come around. I could see him putting up stats like cutler. Lots of TDs lots of interceptions, lots of yards.

He has potential and looks like he improving already.

So much this season could depend on how much Chris Johnson has left in the tank,  whether Eric Decker is a legit starting WR or was a product of Peyton Manning,  and how well rookie 2nd round TE Jace Amaro transitions to the NFL.  One thing that hurts Geno Smith and the Jets collectively is they probably don't have a legit # 1 WR on their roster.  I doubt Stephen Hill is ever going to consistently play up to his measurables.

Well, they had their chances to take a WR in the first round of the draft...

But it's not like Bortles is coming into an offense which is light-years ahead of the Jets. The difference between the two players appears to be that Bortles has confidence and a positive approach to the game.

I agree with everything you said except I have always been a believer that Decker is underrated.

I know he had Peyton and that seemingly inflated his numbers but manning was also very good at spreading the ball around.

Decker is a big strong guy that can get open and catch in traffic. (Although I've seen him drop some easy ones.)

Geno and decker could really help each other out.

Knowing quite a few Jets fans, the one thing I know is they can't really be accused of being terribly smart.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Wow, he IS a Jets fan!  LOL

Seriously though, I truly think we need another season or at least half of one before having strong opinions of Geno. On the other hand, I as really patient with Leftwich and Gabbert so...

Of course he would.  If they had Bortles, they wouldn't have any excuses for losing.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.
