Cowboys desperate, trade for Rolando McLain

Didn't he just retire a 2nd time a few months ago? Only Jerry Jones would trade draft picks for a player who said himself that he doesn't have the desire to play anymore.

He supposedly wants to return now. For what it cost them (a trade down from the sixth to seventh round), he's a talented player worth the risk. Consider that something like 90% of sixth-rounders don't stick in the NFL anyway.

that's that Ozzie magic there!

He'll probably get two sixth rounders back from loss of free agents this year. /sarcasm

Yeah there are so many contingencies linked to that deal, if all works out Cowboys just swapped their 6th for the Ravens 7th.  Not sure of the exact wording but he has to of course make the team, play like 55% percent of the D snaps and there is also something about who has the better record.  I think Jerry tossed in so many diff things, the Ravens just agreed and said take him.  It he pans out, great deal...they could use the depth with Lee going to the IR.  Good thing they pulled the move of when they did....Buffalo just lost a starting LB.
