Singing bonus of $13,341,672 with a cap number this year of $3,755,418. Not bad at all.

Blake Bortles & Marqise Lee had already signed an exclusive deal with Fanatics Authentic, the new memorabilia division of Fanatics, which is the world’s leading online retailer of officially licensed sports merchandise.

”His college pedigree is pretty impressive and his physical tools seem to be compared to Ben Roethlisberger in many circumstances. To some degree his success will depend on where he gets drafted and by which team.” -Victor Shaffer

How does Fanatics Authentic determine the players it seeks to sign prior to the NFL Draft? ”We have a team of people here that look at all the prospects and go player-by-player about who we think we can get, and measure it against where we think they’ll get drafted, what team, what their future is like,” explained Shaffer. ”Some of it is a little bit of poker. We start our meetings back in January and begin targeting certain prospects. Some we win on and some we just move on.”

----------------------------

Bortles recently signed endorsement deals with Nike, Upper Deck and New Era in addition to the mentioned above.

Sounds like he's getting paid and doesnt have to put his fingers in the air like Johnny.

Not much drama on the details with everything being slotted. Glad to see it behind us though.

They're expecting Lee and Robinson to sign in pretty short order as well.

They were discussing it a few minutes ago on 1010XL. Those deals shouldn't be too far behind now that Bortles is done.

Unless the process changes in the next CBA, we won't see that again.

I assume he will make in one cheerful stroke of the pen, more than I will make in my whole life. Disgusting.

Don't hate him for your poor life choices.

Sweet, maybe they were holding out to see what deal Bortles received?

.....and you will have helped make it possible. Blake sends along his heartfelt gratitude. Don't get to down on yourself.
