Sorry i meant Jerry Rice rookie card sorry..

I just bought this card and it says pristine on the bottom of where it says 10 gem mint on it..

Corners 10 rating

Center 10 rating

Edges 10 rating

surface 9.5 rating

Just wondering how much it is because i saw a kid sell 1 on the internet for 2000..

The thing is mine is in better shape..

It's only worth what someone is willing to pay for it, unfortunately. Nice card though.

Oh and it's graded and certified.. 10 gem mint (pristine).. This card is in the original sealing and has never been handled by human hands..  It even says pristine right on the thing also..

This sight here explains the card here..

Sports cards really took a nasty hit in the recent years. You'll always find a buyers market for cards, its just not as large as it was 10 years ago. I have a treasure trove of cards myself that I've collected as a kid and young adult. Never thought of selling any of them. At least not yet. My better ones are a couple of duplicate Jordan rookies, a Willie Mays, Nolan Ryan rookie and a Gale Sayers rook.. None are graded though but in near mint and hardly ever handled..

Autographs I like also. Love my Mantle and Walter Paytons.

If you just bought it, then it's probably worth pretty much what you paid for it.

I have a collection of cards with pictures on them too. The Queen of Hearts isn't pristine.

Not necessarily, I not so long ago purchased a Penn International fishing reel that retails for over $1200 for 50 bucks at a garage sale. It was new in the box.....Score!!!

They make magazines and there are places online that tell you the exact price it is.  Like previous people have said, its only worth what someone will pay.

I'd imagine you put some money into that, if I did, I would probably know quite a bit about that card and not have to come on a message board for advice after the fact....lol

This is probably the best way to make cash on cards now a days. Buy a big lot at a garage sale and hope they didnt pull out all the cards that are worth something.

I hear what you're saying but I get the feeling that this wasn't a garage sale type of find.

Congrats on the reel though! I think you've mentioned fishing before, big time hobby?

Absolutely love to fish, inshore, offshore, freshwater, I love it all. Luckily for me all three are abundant here in Jacksonville.

Why would you inquire here about what a baseball card is worth?

Is Google broken?

I wish I did more of it, perhaps when life slows down a bit. I did get to go on a fishing tour in the SF Bay last year, I had a blast. Growing up I did a lot of lake fishing, but you have to hike REAL far up in the mountains to find a secluded lake in Ca anymore.

What is your preferred fish?

Amazing the kind of trash you find off the coast of Jersey.

How long did you play that drum before it finally fell apart?

Wink
