NFL's use of drones in the future?

#1

Saw this in PFT this morning...

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/201...ning-camp/

To me, this has potentially negative repercussions for the Jaguars.

Training Camp practices are not supposed to be attended by scouts from other teams as long as they are free to attend by fans generally.

As it stands now, the team doesn't have an indoor practice facility.

What is to stop the stinkin tacks from buying a drone and flying over the practice fields at Everbank during camp....or for that matter during game week?  Depending upon the resolution of the camera, at minimum they can see formations and the development of plays.

Even if the league formulated a policy that forbid the use of drones by teams to obtain competitive advantage, and the teams unanimously and enthusiastically complied with the policy, what is to stop just a wealthy and dedicated fan from acquiring one of these drones and then sending the picks/video to teams?

Any team that practices outside would be vulnerable to this technology.

Around here they better not let it get to low. It will become target practice.

Exactly.  Especially in the area around the stadium.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Florida has the stand your ground law.

Lamping: In addition to the pool-side cabanas, we will now be installing anti-air missiles in the facility.  Any opposing team drones that enter the vicinity will be shot down without warning.  We will be auctioning off the position of 'manning the missiles' to one lucky fan each day!

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

It's too pure. Needs a little "something" for full inhalation benefits...

Unless you are in Los Angeles, you can't see it.

It's very sneaky that way...and is liable to do anything.
