does this change anything? Give it more or less credibility?

Eric, in answer to your question, my guess is the lawsuit will have more credibility in the minds of a typical jury. Dan Marino has name recognition that most of the players taking part in the lawsuit can't even dream of.
I wonder if this will affect his broadcasting opportunities how much control does the NFL have over broadcasters. Personally I think it makes him look like a whinny little girl and someone looking to hitch his wagon onto whatever payday these suits might bring.
He withdrew his name from the lawsuit now.

I'm guessing that he can't really claim he's having problems when he's been getting paid all these years for using his supposedly injured brain...

It sounds like he was joining the lawsuit just in case he started suffering from symptoms from the beatdown he received in his final game.
Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I heard that after the fact as well, sounded like they don't even have to join the lawsuit to be covered for future symptoms. Whatever settlement they reach is supposed to include treatment league wide I guess. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! |
