Greg Hardy Arrested

(This post was last modified: 05-14-2014, 08:19 PM by Redsky39.)

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap2000000...e-on-couch

The woman's side of the story:

<p style="margin-left:40px;">"
<span style="color:rgb(34,34,33);">In the protective order request, the woman said Hardy picked her up and threw her into the tile tub area of the bathroom. He then dragged her into the bedroom, choked her, picked her up again and "threw me onto a couch covered in assault rifles and/or shotguns."</span>

<p style="margin-left:40px;">

Hardy's side of the story:

<p style="margin-left:40px;">"Speaking in court, Hardy's lawyer said what happened Tuesday wasn't as investigators described. It was the woman who attacked Hardy and a friend, and it was Hardy who called 911 because the woman wouldn't leave his home, lawyer Chris Fialko said,
according to The Observer<span style="color:rgb(34,34,33);">." (Notice how it conveniently brushes over the weapon allegations)</span>

<p style="margin-left:40px;">

Dunno who to believe nowadays, but Hardy's side of the story is lacking in detail. But this is what gets me:

<p style="margin-left:40px;">"The motion estimated that Hardy had 25 to 30 firearms, including shotguns, rifles and AK-47s. Hardy has a permit to purchase firearms and some of the weapons were permitted but some were not, the motion stated."

<p style="margin-left:40px;">

Why on God's green Earth do you need all those guns? And on top of that, he's apparently not even allowed to have some of them. Sucks for Carolina, having the Franchise Tag on this loon.

Storing weapons on a couch is the method preferred by NFL gun owners league wide. I think they learn that in rookie orientation.

I don't think anyone has a problem with him storing his weapons on the couch.

The problem is that he's throwing people onto them, and that he's not even permitted to be owning some of them.

That's her version of how many and what kinds of weapons he had....notice he wasn't arrested on any weapons charges.
