2010 -- Oh, the good ole days of using Google !

2010 Draft

1st - Alualu

2nd - no pick (Cox obtained prior year for 2010 2nd round pick)

3rd - D'Anthony Smith

4th - Obtained Kirk Morrison from Oakland for 4th round pick

5th - Larry Hart

5th - Austen Lane

6th - Deji Karim

6th - Scotty McGee

I kind of miss using Google throughout the draft to try to figure out who the heck we selected and why !!!

It's a shame Google isn't broken to save us the pain of remembering this stuff.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Oh 2010.  How I remember sitting in my car listening to Alualu's name on the Radio.  The only thing I could tell my wife at the time was "At least it wasn't Tebow I guess."  I couldn't even use google to look him up because our phone lines were down.

You know what really sucks?  The next DE taken after Lane was Greg Hardy.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Sounds exactly like my experience. Headed back to Jax from Tampa and listening to the draft on the radio somewhere down around Ocala, the signal was weak, and I couldn't understand whose name they had given at first.

My reaction was complete confusion, with a little relief that it wasn't Tebow.

That Gene Smith, a reportedly good man who didn't understand how to build a roster.

Serious question, is that 2010 draft the worst draft in the history of the NFL?

Seeing that again made me throw up.

That is arguably the worst draft in the history of the NFL.

There are a lot of drafts that happened in the time the NFL has been around. It's seems the worst the Jaguars have so far ever had, but it's hard to say about the history of the NFL and all the teams that ever drafted in it.

Thinking about the 2010 draft in the aftermath of this seemingly great 2014 draft is a bit of a buzzkill.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

(This post was last modified: 05-12-2014, 11:57 AM by BritishJag.)

In the 1967 draft, the second year franchise Atlanta Falcons had 15 draft picks in 17 rounds. 0 of their draft picks made the roster

Their first pick, Leo Carroll, made the Green Bay Packers roster in 1968 and played for 3 seasons. Nobody else saw the NFL.

Gene Smith was born in 1963 so maybe a 4 year old Gene Smith was in charge of that draft too.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.  But, the good news is we shouldn't see that again!

When Alualu is by far the only productive player in your draft, you know something is wrong.

Yikes... 2008 was worse.

Man... No wonder our roster was as bad as it was. We are lucky to have won any games from 2010- present.
