Craig Loston

Did Craig Loston just flip from Jacksonville, to Arizona, and now back to Jacksonville?  Could this be the reason we didn't want to announce our UDFA signings until today?

If so, I love it.  I had him rated very highly, as a third rounder, in my opinion.

Sounds like he is back with the Jags. Posted an instagram of the Jags and said he was part of #JagsNation. Good signs.

How Loston didn't get drafted is a stunner to me.  He's pretty much Cyprien's identical twin.  If Cyp got drafted at #33, there is no way this guy should have went undrafted.

Excellent signing. This guy is going to make the team, I would bet you my bottom dollar.

LEONARD FOURNETTE FAN CLUB PRESIDENT. I WAS BEHIND HIM WHEN YOU ALL SAID HE WAS BRANDON JACOBS. QUIT HATING ON THE JAGUARS. GUS IS GONE. COUGHLIN HAS RESTORED ORDER. FOURNETTE IS FRED TAYLOR. DONT BELIEVE ME JUST WATCH.

He's easily our second best safety.  He's every bit as good as Cyprien coming out of college.

Lets pump the brakes a little bit.

He's right, though. Prosinski just sucks, Guy is a solid back up to Cyp, Josh Evans is still developing and struggles in coverage so by default Loston's the second best safety on the team.

Wow.. watching him he looks like he's playing in a different era.  Looks like a Steelers safety from the 70s.

Violent.

That kid loves, loves, loves to hit.  Anyone know why he fell out of the draft???

Like I said, this was posted from his instagram less than two hours ago. Sure looks like he thinks he's a Jaguar.

Big hitter yes, and adequate in coverage, but doesn't make a lot of big plays and got hurt a lot. In this deep of a draft teams just didn't take the gamble with question marks as much as normal. Our profit.

I don't think roto has updated it yet. Pretty sure he's a Jag again.

Gotcha.  I did see him have a ton of interceptions.  But that of course was just a highlight video.  I just like how he is excited to hit people.  He gets in there.  Definitely seems like a Gus guy.

I can see him contributing on special teams and backing up cyp. Hopefully he can beat out prosinski for the backup ss spot

seems like he made a lot of plays and is a big hitter although he is gonna have to clean up those late hits.

I agree with this. Beating out Pros shouldn't be that difficult.

Which other safety is better than him?  I've stated he's had 3rd round value in my eyes since December, which would make him legitimately our 2nd best safety if he's anywhere near that good.  I do believe he's as good, or at least very close to as good, as Cyprien coming out of school.
