Agsin, if I were the type to say I told you so, I'd probably bring up the fact that I've been saying this for 6 months, much to the dismay of the general message board population.


But I'm not that type of guy, so I won't say any of that.

Competition will settle the Wr position. Whoever is left standing after cuts will be the best for the team. Once Jerry says who he wants to keep that's It final. Cecil will have to stay healthy & perform this yr for his contract. & If and when Blackmon comes back they will make room for him on the roster. But he will have to do the same as Cecil. Play lights out to stay on the roster. IMO It's a win win situation. Last 5 standing will be our Wr core for the future.

the Jags can't have any contact with Blackmon, so unless the NFL has told them something or there are some public info, the Jags don't know anything

 

Now the fact that we haven't heard anything about him being reinstated could be what he is talking about. If everything was fine, he would have applied already and gotten his suspension amount.

I think it means Caldwell expects Blackmon to screw up again --- and it means Shorts should mark the trade deadline on his calendar just in case.

 

Brown and Taylor will have to fight hard to earn a roster spot.

I don't really feel bad for Blackmon, but man he must have one heck of an addiction problem. These two picks confirm it. Football aside, I really hope he figures it out for himself, and to get some sort of stability in his life.
