It's time to get Bortles some weapons!

#1

I was as suprised as anyone last night and sure hope Caldwell knows what he's doing.  As usual, i'll give it the benefit of the doubt and see how it plays out.  The more i look into the pick and the comments from Caldwell the better i feel.

Now's the time to support the kid and give him an NFL chance.  We need A LOT of help on O, let's get it quickly with this draft to give the kid the best chance.  I'd like to see a RB, a G, and at least 2 WRs with the remaining picks.  If Caldwell can hit on a few of these and Bortles is who he thinks he is, we could be in for years of winning!

This draft we are going offensive heavy according to Dave, wouldn't mind either of those, but with us just drafting a franchise qb you need to make sure the OL is solid and he has weapons to go too...so i'm thinking TE/WR or OL.

I'd rather get him a good guard or center. If someone like Suafilo is there I could see him coming here.

Alternatively I'd love to see Caldwell find a good D-line prospect. We still need stronger d-line play, too.

I agree 100% man. I was pretty shocked at first as well, but once I seen why Dave was so high on him I realized it was the right pick. We need a QB more than anything, and we got the best QB in the draft. Don't be overly concerned about drafting the defense. Bradley has proven that he can develop those later round defense guys. We need another WR right now.

Amaro is the best passing game threat at TE. But he has some character issues. they would have to be sure he will not be a problem. But aside from that he is a true threat in the passing game.

I've actually met him in a bar haha. He's a good receiver but drops some easy ones.

id love to get marqise lee, but how are we going to get kenjon barner to leave the panthers?

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

No.  Time to get the OL in order.

Joeckel, Beadles...and three bums.

The Jaguars need to draft two starter quality lineman in this draft.  Bitonio, Jackson, Su'a-Filo, Richburg, etc

Jordan Matthews.

Then get a Center in the 3rd/4th.

Pazstor isn't a bum.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

I though we should have traded up to get (TE) Eric Ebron at the bottom of the second round. Any thoughts?

Need a G for sure at least.

Brewster might end up being a top C. He was a blue chip guy before his senior year.
