Day 2

#1

Lets trade up and get Marqise Lee unfortunately we might have to give up the house to do so. Thoughts on Day 2?

Too many good players on the board to make trading up for Lee worth it.

I don't wanna give up picks for him. Still some good WRs outside of Lee.

Jeremiah Attaochu I think is the best 34 LB or LEO right now, I would love that pick up, maybe Trent Murphy or Kyle Van Noy on the back 7

There are two big corners in Jean-Baptiste and Kieth McGill, and I would not be upset with either of them

Tom Savage would have been a good pick here if they didn't take Bortles

The wide receivers left are all size/speed prototypes, so picking one is really about projection and risk

I wouldn't rule out a Offensive lineman, I like Bitino or Richburg at C

lots of possibilities

Latimer/Matthews (WR), Van Noy (OLB), or trade back and get the USC Center.

I saw an updated projection that had Robinson (Penn State WR) going to the Jags.  The dude is good but he may be a little slow.  I like speed at the WR position.

If you want a WR, there are going to be plenty good ones available at pick 39. No need to trade up for Lee.

No reason to trade up for Lee when there is a good chance he could be there at our pick. I do think we go WR in the 2nd round then O-line in the 3rd

I think we see a WR, TE, or C here.  My bet is it's between Lee, Amaro, and Martin.

Wouldn't mind the OT out of Alabama

I think we could move back 2 times this round and still get a guy who should have been top 40 picking up another 3rd or 2 of them.

Possibly rams move up give us the 2nd and 3rd then we move back with the 49ers and trade the rams pick at 12 to the 49ers who have to unload picks i would think for 24 and 29 or 3/13

No need to trade up. Probably only 1 WR will get taken before us at most, stay put and take Lee/Latimer.

Long term durability is an issue with him

IMO, the Jags will go offense again in round 2.  Caldwell mentioned at some point how this draft is especially strong on the offensive side of the ball.  I think he'll try to get some weapons now with the uncertainty of the Blackmon situation and a general lack of weapons they possess.

Also, if you look at all of the FA signings along the defensive line, it appears as though the offseason plan was to patch up the defense and pass rush via FA then build the offense through the draft.  Just my opinion.

if the jags wanna give up a 5th rounder to move up a couple spots to get lee im ok with it. but definitely not the house. otherwise if lee is gone there are plenty of wide receivers and other first round grade guys who will be there. lee would be a steal though.

Coughlin when asked if winning will be a focus: "What the hell else is there? This is nice and dandy, but winning is what all this is about."

No way I trade up. Wait for the draft to come to you. Don't panic.

Allen Robinson should be the guy, I have a better feeling about him than Lee

If we could draft Lee and trade back into the 2nd and take Amaro it would turn from a meh draft to a great one
