Cocaine dealer: gun needed for on-the-job protection
 

 

A Baltimore man was arrested Monday after he told a Maryland State Police trooper during a traffic stop that he was a cocaine dealer who had bought a gun off the street as on-the-job protection, police said.

Demetrius George Brown, 34, of the 5700 block of Jonquil Avenue, was riding in the back seat of a vehicle that was stopped at about 5:15 p.m. on westbound I-70 near downtown Frederick for following another vehicle too closely, according to documents filed in Frederick County District Court.

But yeah, it is a business expense. Only problem with those is that you have to provide receipts for them if audited, and good luck getting the illegal gun dealer to hand you a slip of paper as proof that he sold it.
