Team trading up for Bridgewater?

#1

nfl.com reports one team is interested in trading up for Teddy, who do you think it will be and could it possibly be the Jags? I know he had a bad pro day but if it doesn't cost too much I wouldn't mind pulling the trigger on him.

Trading up from where exactly?  3?  Nope.  39?  Remote possibility.

From 39, there is no way I would trade up from 3 for him.

Teddy's going no lower than 4th, my prediction.

I think you're overshooting the target.

The target is at around 26.

I've soured on Teddy, the master scout that I am. People say he's accurate on small throws and has a quick release, but many of his throws wobble to their targets, and his motion has a hitch in it. He doesn't strike me as overly confident either. Alex Smith-level would be a good ceiling for this guy, but he's not taking a team to the promised land. I'd be OK with him falling to No. 39, or the Jaguars selecting Garrapolo/Carr there as well, but I wouldn't want the Jaguars to trade up from that spot for any QB in this draft.

Until he doesn't, at which time you'll do the same song and dance you do anytime you're wrong.

This is going to be a truly bad draft for you, but it's okay.   If anyone knows how to lie their way out of all the predictions they've made, you're the queen of the castle.

Im glad Houston did not get him in case he ends up being really good.

MIN is a good spot for him.

Minn is an excellent place for him. Unlike Ponder, the Vikings didn't reach and actually got him for value.

I think Minnesota just made an expensive lateral move at qb. I honestly don't think they got better with the pick.

Ponder was a 3rd round talent picked at 12th overall. Now that was a reach. TB is a first round talent sliding to the 32nd pick. This is a great pick for the Vikings because they don't have to start him right away if he's not ready. Also, that 5th year option will be huge for their salary cap in the future.

Disagree.  I don't see the two as being that much different.  Both flawed but in different ways, neither will have an easy job making it.

He's a Norv Turner pick. He wouldn't have traded up to get him if he wasn't confident he can be a solid starter in this league.
