Pick the Bust

(This post was last modified: 05-05-2014, 09:55 PM by SuperJville.)

This is the top 50 prospects according to cbssports

Your job is to pick which one(s) will completely BUST.  I'm not talking about which ones will be decent but overdrafted, I'm talking about BUSTing so bad that they're out of the league in 2-3 years.

Here's my picks:

C.J Mosley.  Too small and overrated athleticism

Marqise Lee.  Will be injury prone and also has overrated athleticism

I actually agree with this one too.  Don't see the hype at all.,  Also has overrated athleticism.

Clowney. yes, Clowney. He'll never live up to the hype.

Bridgewater. Some team will overdraft the guy, be forced to play him early, and he'll end up being Gabbert 2.0.

Barr. Will be Gholston 2.0.

What lies behind us, and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

Mack is slowly reminding me of Vernon Gholston. He may end up being a Pro Bowler. I'm just seeing a lot of what Gholston was supposed to be with the same position. I don't think Bridgewater will be a bust because he's being looked at (late 1st/early 2nd) where he really should be. Most of these QBs will need time to learn and develop.

GO JAGS!!

Barr is better at getting home; getting to the QB. I don't think Barr would be a good cover guy and Mack is better than he in run defense.

Mack is a jack of all trades and master of none. He can be used in coverage, can rush the passer, can help in the run defense....but he's not elite at any of those. The only thing Mack is elite at is forcing fumbles. Which I do like about him, just that a player like this shouldn't be top 5. If we can get him after a trade down, I'm ok with it.

Manziel. Not because I doubt his talent, but because I doubt his motivation, his resilience, and his odds of not finding his way into a wheelchair the first time he takes a high-low hit from a pair of 275 lb. defensive ends.
