Manziel to the Texans?

#1

Sounds like the Texans are going Manziel instead of Clowney at 1.  If so, do the Jags trade up one spot to the Rams to secure Clowney, do they stay put and draft him at 3, or do they trade the pick to the highest bidder for a king's ransom?  Your thoughts?

If Clowney is there at two, I could definitely see Dave moving up to two and I'd be all for it.

USA Today seems to be making veiled threats if the Texans take Manziel. Some guy named Jarrett Bell?

I dare you to open the draft by selecting Johnny Manziel.

Sure, Manziel — not built as solidly as another short quarterback with whom he is compared, Russell Wilson — looks as though he can be snapped in half by one Gregg Williams-designed double blitz.

Taking Manziel might even cause an earthquake, with the epicenter at Radio City Music Hall in New York. Passing on Clowney might shake the foundation of the draft process as we know it.

You know McNair can already feel tremors. McNair founded the franchise and can't forget how its inaugural pick in 2002 of quarterback David Carr backfired.

You all must be Clowney fans. Just like him you don't lift.

They can have Manziel, and not a fan of moving up for Clowney or any other player in this draft

Just let the draft play out and make your pick. Trading up rarely pays off.

Looks like worst case scenario will play out, Clowney and Manziel go 1 and 2. Oh well, i can live with Mack or Watkins!

Sounds like they're taking him, huh?

Well, as long as it sounds like it.

I'll be shocked if they don't draft Clowney.

O'brien and the tinhonrs don't have the balls. They'll go safe this year for the new coach. And Caldwell will stick it to them for many seasons to come, by actually having the balls to take Johnny with the top pick.

I want 3 players. Clowney, Bridgewater, Manziel. Jaguars have the number 3 pick. Just give me one of those 3 at 3, and I'm happy.

It won't take BRAINS to draft ego at 3....so it definitely will take some part of the anatomy that doesn't THINK.
If that RV sales place wants Tebow in Jax bad enough to take out a billboard saying as much.....they should just HIRE him.
