Best 6th Round Pick in Jaguars History

#1

6 days until the draft. Here is a list of the best 6th rounders in Jaguars history. Who do you think is the best. Will post the same for the other rounds over the next few days.

I didn't realize until I compiled this list how the 6th round has been the round of death.

Good Lord. There is nobody on that list I can even vote for.

Yeah almost no contributors at all in the 6th.  I guess my vote could be Mike Harris.

I voted for Shelton.  He was a pretty good FB.

This....is sad. Id wanna say Miller because he's the only one I remember actually DOING anything for us(though still not much) To early to say on Evans and Harris has potential as a nickel. So ill go with Miller.

Yeah, that group of 6th rounders presents us with one option.  Zach Miller made a few plays here.

The rest were pretty ho-hum.

Okay, so even Miller was ho-hum.

6th round = bad.

Shelton by default I guess.

I always liked Miller's potential. He just could not stay healthy.

Didn't Miller have a 3 TD game to end the season a few years back? Was it Cleveland?

I had high hopes for him.

Does the fact that the team got a sixth round selection for Gabbert seem ominous to anyone else?
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Yikes...

Evans is going to be good IMO.

Miller was a joke.  The most injury prone player I have ever seen before.  And on top of that, was extremely hyped up.

Mike Harris has a chance to make history here.

Mike Harris.

No homer.

Why is Josh Evans even listed?? He was invisible last season.

Caldwell's 7th rounders weren't listed in the other thread, so listing Evans is stupid.

He had a couple of flashes, then disappeared.

I know you have this desperate need for attention and to be anti-everything.

But seriously, what other 6th round gem should be on there instead of Evans?

And (I know this sounds crazy) maybe last year's 7th rounders weren't listed yesterday because they weren't among the best 7th rounders.

Evans was definitely not "invisible" last year. I mean the guy started some games for us as a sixth round pick. Sure, he had his bad moments, but if you actually watched the Jaguars play football you would have noticed that Josh did make a few plays here and there meaning making a few key tackles and so on... Call me crazy, but I think he starts again this year with Cyp.

Evans is as irrelevant as any 6th rounder we ever drafted.

Perhaps you're a UF fan. That might help clear things up.

Yawn....citing "he starts" means little. How did he play?? Mostly invisible. I remember Gene Smith being given a lot of credit after his first draft because of all those starters he drafted.....well, its easy to have your draft picks start when the roster is gutted. Whether those "starters" are actually good is what determines their worth.

Evans has been a nothing so far.

Like I said, because you don't watch the games you wouldn't notice that Evans was a pretty good tackler and has good speed and passion for the game. And what if he didn't start? You would rag on him for not starting also.
