I came across a stat the other day that indicated an average of 4 of the top 10 picks taken in any given draft will fail. Which 4 of the top 10 prospects listed do you think will fail at the next level assuming all go in the top 10 of this year's draft?

In any given order:

1)Bridgewater

2)Manziel

3)Matthews

4)Robinson

5)Watkins

6)Mack

7)Evans

8)Clowney

9)Bortles

10)Donald

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

Robinson

Manziel

Watkins

The first two have concerns adapting to the pro game.

Watkins already has legal issues, will not fail from lack of talent.

The difference between Teddy and Johnny is intelligence and quick reaction to which I feel Johnny surpasses Teddy enough to be drafted in the 1st round.

I think Teddy reminds me more of Vince Young (rookie of the year but is nowhere to be heard of in the NFL now), while Johnny football has the potential to be the next Aaron Rodgers.

Thats funny because a popular comparison for Teddy based on his game and style is Aaron Rodgers. I've seen it on multiple sites and breakdowns. Also reacting quick doesnt always mean you react smart and if its about understanding defenses and making reads Teddy is lightyears beyond Manziel in that category.

If you think about it Manziel has much  more in common with VY than Teddy. Both werent known for reading defenses but instead opting to use their legs to escape defenders and make downfield throws. Both threws alot of short (easy) and deep passes (from scrambling) but didnt work the intermediate parts of the field which requires more intelligence from the QB to read zones and understand the defense as well as sitting in the pocket more which both of them just couldnt do. Both would flush from the pocket with good blocking in front of them and both would miss reads when doing so.

Yeah, I'm on board with this.

Never argue with idiots. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

I don't see Donald being a bust but I could see him as a guy that ends up just average.

I'd say Robinson and Evans are the two biggest bust prospects.

In the eyes of message board fans, "just average" = bust, right?

I guess so. Like I wouldn't classify Reynaldo Wynn, James Stewart or even Reggie Williams as a bust. They all contributed to the team. Gabbert is a bust. Soward. Derrick Harvey. That is a bust.

But I guess some people have this absolute black or white way of looking at things. But there is a gray area.

Complelety disagree with this, Aaron Donald was the best interior pass rusher in college football last year, he dominated the Senior Bowl, and blew up the combine. How anyone can see him as being just average or a bust is beyond comprehension, to me, he's a probowl caliber player in the mode of Geno Atkins. There is no way guards and centers will be able to contain him, he's simply too athletic/quick and strong, Donald will be a beast in the NFL.

I am not making a prediction on how he will turn out. I am speaking more of his floor. I think (at worst) that he ends up average. I don't see much bust potential in him.
