Quote:That's the trifecta of HELL NO!! Spiders, clowns and cornfields are all just wrong!!!!!

Plus the only thing wrong with cornfields are how sharp those husks and leaves can be. Would be pretty close to running through sawgrass. Can be nasty stuff..

I've ran through many miles of cornfields growing up while having dirt clod wars with my brothers.  I've felt the sting of sweat on my scored eyelids many times. Given my height at the time that's where they caught me.

Didn't hurt as much as getting beaned with a rock hard clod, though.

Yep.  We used to use artillery barrages to flush someone out who was lurking along a row.  Man that was fun.

Damn skippy.. If you were lucky, they'd hit ya and just dust up in the wind.. half the time, even after they hit ya from 15 yards away and fell to the ground, you can pick em up and reuse em.

A couple of brothers who lived up the road used to play with us.  The older one was big and strong and mean. That anus had a talent for finding the hardest clods around, and he could zing them.  I caught him out in the open once and beaned him in the center of the back and once more as he spun around.  I spent the rest of the afternoon running and hiding.

Those of us here in Florida would have pine cone wars! Same principle as the dirt wars...
