How was this not already being done somewhere.

St. Augustine is genius.

I was thinking the same thing.  It is a stroke of brilliance.  Hopefully there isn't a fleet of bus tours visiting St. Augustine that weekend from mosques around the country.

I'm waiting for that one person to chime in on how unhealthy this is, and how America is a shell of its former self.

With that said, this could be an interesting festival.

It's extremely unhealthy and will clog your arteries with a plaque like substance which can lead to heart disease, stroke or cardiac arrest.. That said, it's bacon.. Even the health nuts can't resist and I wish I could go cause I'd eat my weight in the stuff, or die trying..

I know that here in Richmond, they had a bacon festival downtown. The crowds were so huge that they had significant problems with control. Several hour long lines for food tables and the like. They even put it off a year so that they could better plan for the next time.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

They had to take a whole year off to plan for the next one? No chance of success in that town.

What did they expect? A city full of hipsters surrounded by hog farms is not good combination for a bacon festival. I am told that there were fewer than 25 survivors.

You may want to hold that thought (albeit a good one) until you hear the prices. My guess is the options will be pretty pricey.

Really isn't my problem now, is it? They are in a free country and are free to drive right on by. Smile
