Making an offer to sign Mack is for sure a big bucks deal. This may be the first cue that the Jaguars will take a quarterback with pick three if Clowney is gone. It would be difficult to imagine the Jags passing on Clowney if he is available unless Caldwell believes one of the QB's is a franchise player.  I personally would love to see Manziel come to the Jags, he would bring excitement and media attention. As for the injury issue teach the man to slide before getting hit. One thing I would love is if he did scrabble out of the pocket and was one yard away from a first down sliding would not be an option for Manziel! I always hated when a quarterback, running back or wide receiver step out of bounds or slide when they are one stride away from a first down! You play the game to win!

Teddy appears to be clearly taller than Manziel and just as broad across the chest if not more. I really dont see the size issues for Bridgewater. That said though im not a Manziel guy i liked his responses in the second half of questioning the most of any of the listed visit interviews in this thread. Very direct and non dodgy answers which I had seen from him a bit during the Grudens QB camp where he appeared to just be on improv mode and was visibly "sketchy".

 

Shows he is working on his interview preparation and is working to fully shake the immature label. Also i'll second the notion that JP Shad is creepy as hell with that stare/grin.

Quite honestly, I'm liking Teddy more and more.  His footwork is great -- seems consistent (which is what you need if you can establish a top 5 defense).

And if I remember correctly I think it was Shadrick who was the one that said, right before his pro-day started, that MAnziel was the only 'rockstar' in this draft. Kinda fits well with his giddy interview today, lol.

And is it weird for anyone else to think, actually seeing Manziel standing in our teal-laden building, that he's a more popular/well-known athlete than any of our actual pro-players on the Jaguars roster right now? It'd sure be real nice to get him.

 

Bridgewater looked/sounded good too. I just can't help but like that kid. Hell, I hope we get Johnny at 3 and then Teddy falls out of the first so we can get him at the top of round 2 too. Wouldn't that be a complete mind-fk for these boards. Johnny in the first and Teddy in the second. :yes:

I'm all in on Van Noy. I feel like they really want him here, but I worry that he'll get snatched up in the Late First / Early Second before we can get him. And I do not subscribe to trading up for him. He's a solid Second Round guy, but I don't think he's a worth-two-draft-picks guy.

I have my issues with BYU defenders.  Ziggy Ansah seems to be the one stud they have ever produced on defense.
