If You Could Be Someone Else, Who Would It Be?

#1

Pretty straightforward topic.

For me, there aren't as many options as I thought there would be, all things considered. I would almost certainly go with Chuck Yeager. The guy is a personal hero, and has done things that I will only dream of doing.

I thought this would have been a lot tougher for me, but it was pretty easy.

What about you?

What lies behind us, and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

Neil Armstrong, but for only one day - July 11, 1969.

I would savor the opportunity to have a glass of wine with Carl Sagan.

Wrong Chuck. Chuck Norris all day.

Seriously though it might be fun to be LeBron James, Eddie Van Halen or Tiger Woods for a day just to see what it would be like to be the best in the world at something. However, I wouldn't want to be somebody else for more than a day.

A guy with a gun and an opportunity to kill Hitler in the 1920s.

That was a strange day. Walking in the Nevada desert and all with bright lights and slow mo cameras following you around. Ninja

That never works out!  Turns out the kid you killed was going to just wind up a doctor or something.  Out of grief, Hitler's mother kidnaps another child and names him Adolf, and he grows up to be the one we all know.  All your fault!

If I could be someone else, I'd be me with a lot more money and a bit more success I suppose.  I wouldn't want to be a lot of other people, because they have a lot of problems that I probably wouldn't know how to deal with.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

I don't think I want to be someone else. I mean, I have a lot of practice being me and I still make mistakes on a regular basis. I can't imagine how bad I would screw up someone else' life!

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

I'd be me with a little more money.

Or Carroll Shelby. That would be cool too.
