I think they will take the guy they want there...whether QB or LB.

 

If they aren't interested in an OL or DL there, they won't take one.

I never said it was likely, but it could happen.  It's both possible they aren't high on the QBs, and it's possible they don't see Mack and Barr as impact players worth taking at #3, or maybe just not fits in their system.  If no OT is taken by #3 there are 3 or 4 top 10 caliber tackles left and maybe a team doesn't feel the need to trade up. 

 

As for Robinson, they may have decided they flat out aren't taking a tackle.  I don't know much about Ebron, but if they believe he's a Graham/Gronkowski caliber player you never know.

Since Mack is off the board in your scenario then you look at Jake Mathews and Justin Gilbert. Dave said we wont take another Tackle high but your scenario handcuffs us a little bit...Since im assuming Houston takes Clowney and we would have to face him and Watt twice a year, Id prefer to have another stud tackle. Mathews played right side while Joeckel manned the left in college, no reason they cant do it again....

 

Given the other option, we go get Justin Gilbert way too early. Not what I would like but your scenario.

 

I dont think you take Ebron because he doesnt possess elite speed. If he did then I would think that is the choice.
