Alex Smith. He'll be in that category right between average and above average.

Alex Smith, but will not be as bad his first years as Smith was.

That's certainly one of the possible outcomes, however he's a much better QB already than Seneca Wallace ever was. He's not as good of an athlete but in terms of passing, pocket awareness, etc. he is already better.

He has a few issues that will need to be coached out of him with foot placement, throwing technique, and things of that nature.  Kurk Warner touched on it today.  I also thought I heard Kurt say they could be coached out.  However nobody knows 1) if they can be and 2) IF they can be, how long will it take?

Any way you look at it I see him as much less of a risk than Johnny Manziel.

Bortles and Teddy are two guys I would be happy with in the first.  If Dave picks either of them at 3 I will trust in Dave's drafting ability.  Drafting Johnny Manziel at 3, with all of his risks and issues, will concern me.  I will support the kid and be excited to see him as a Jaguar.  I will be excited to see how the Johnny Manziel experiment plays out.  However I would prefer to watch that experiment with a different team...being that I don't see the odds being great that Johnny can produce anything close to what he did in college.

Johnny has a very high ceiling if all things play out right, a lot of things have to happen for that to come to fruition.  He has a lot of things he has to learn about playing the QB position at the NFL level.  The mental side of the game is what I feel could be too much of a change for him.  I think he needs to be more of a conventional QB in reads, seeing defenses/coverages, etc. to be successful and that isn't easy to do when you've gotten away with not having to do it for so long.  Being a QB in the NFL will be more complicated for him from a mental standpoint.  NFL defenses are not only bigger, faster and stronger but also smarter, more prepared and more complicated.

I see Andre Ware, personally.

These are terrible comparisons. Bridgewater is not a running QB.

He will be what Chad Pennington should have been had he not suffered multiple injuries.

He is a perfect comparison to Ware.

Size, stature, college experience, and projected draft slot. I also think their style of play is a lot closer than you think it is.

Nor did he play in a run-n-shoot.

College experience?!?

Bridgewater played in 12 more games than Ware.

Style of play is much different as a function of the differences in the offenses.
