I would have felt that way before the holdout; now I'm ambivalent. I think he has value, but the sentimental attachment is long gone.

You're right, nothing could be as bad as seeing Freddy in another uniform. That was just wrong on so many levels.

i've never really gotten this type of attitude in football unless it's say a HOF QB type.

There are 22 starters and 30 additional players on the team, this isn't the NBA where you have 5 starters and a superstar makes or breaks the team. Now 49ers fans unhappy seeing Montana leave or GB fans about favre I can get, but a running back who played 2 contracts? Who cares
