Guard Austin Howard

Sources say Howard and the Jets couldn't reach an agreement.

Howard is only 27 started 32 games in the last two years and only allowed 2 sacks.

Would like to see the jags take a run at him

Austin Howard was the Jets starting RT the last couple of seasons.   Howard's body type makes him a better fit at RT than in the interior.

If he's good on his feet, he'd be good inside or out in ZBS.  Unless I'm mistaken, Paztor played some RG as well.  It wouldn't hurt having a jumbo right side as long as the G can hold their own and not get leveraged.

Good points, pirkster.   I've always envisioned Austin Howard as a Tackle,  since becoming aware of him.   I'm interested to see what transpires with him moving forward.

The Raiders appear to have serious interest in Austin Howard.   I'm not sure what their plans would be for them after signing St. Louis Rams UFA T-G Roger Saffold to a sizeable contract:
