Brian Hoyer trade proposal

#1

Lets say the Jags decide to pass on a QB for the first 3 rounds. The Browns selected Manziel in the 1st. Would you be willing to trade a mid-round pick for Hoyer, who showed some promise early last season before tearing his ACL, or would you draft a QB there instead?

I like Hoyer better than Henne for sure, but not worth a 4th rounder. If we wait that long we just gotta accept that we won't have a franchise QB until the 2015 draft at the earliest.

They say that every year, this class has three franchise QB's Teddy, Johnny, and Bortles.

I rolled on the floor laughing, With all those missed reads in the pocket Manziel had to improvise. If he had just stuck to the play book (or just be Teddy Bridgewater) A&M would have been in the National Title hunt late

So you're saying the Jags will pass on QB the first three rounds (as was stated in the OP) and will still get a chance at those 3?

There's a pretty good chance 1 of these 3 quarterbacks proves to be that franchise qb. I sure hope Texans draft wrong one lol

I'd trade Henne straight up for Hoyer.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Well, of course you would, but why is this even a thread..??

We signed Henne and thats it. We're not bringing in any more veteran QB's at this point, now. (If we wanted Hoyer, we never should have signed Henne.)

Hoyer impressed me a couple years ago in preseason as the Pats backup when we played them, was shocked it took so long for him to get a chance to start.
