To know where on the right path this time. To know the years of mediocrity and inept management are coming to a close. This is the start of something special, were gonna be a great team in the future.

Sucks to be Cleveland though

Gene Smith's first year looked awesome, and started chants of "In Gene We Trust". Caldwell looks promising, but I'm not ready to anoint him as the savior just yet. However, the arrow does appear to be pointing up.

. "Dave with the Save" coming to the message board soon. Either by sarcasm or tear of joy followed by trumpets.

After what happened with Gene Smith...I think everyone on here is more than justified to hold their breaths on Caldwell and Bradley until they definitively prove something.

I Agree that there is a Better Feeling of future success coming from Bradley, Caldwell and Lamping than the past regimes. It's there, I can feel the impending success that will overcome our team and the kicker is that the formentioned are only pieces to the puzzle.

Its just the vibe I get from Caldwell. He's not gene smith who unwisely trades picks away for mediocre talent, or who draft some random guy from a small school to prove that he has a superior eye to talent. He's a protege of a successful GM. And how can you not like Gus's energy, having a coach that players are willing to die for is priceless.

This exact thing was said after Gene took over from Shack. Give it some time.

Our only playmaker is in rehab. We gave up 50 sacks the past two seasons and have been on the bottom in defensive sacks and turnovers. Oh.. And we have no QB. Or RB for that matter. I am optimistic, but we have bupkis right now.
Only a chump boos the home team!

I hope Caldwell sticks to his guns and doesn't trade up.  I truly believe in building through the draft and acquiring more picks, not trading up.

Caldwell hasn't done squat yet. We all chanted Gene Smith's name after the first year. Relax dude.

Exactly.. I'm rife with optimism but still painfully cautious at the same time due to past happenings.

We all hope that is the case but many said this about Gene Smith in his 2nd year, so I'm being cautious.  The team did finish with only 4 wins (2 of which was against the Texans who finished last in the NFL).  The team still has the poor performance of Chad Henne & Blaine Gabbert at the helm, and now has none of the orignial Oline from last year (with the exception of Luke whom if healthy should play LT & Pastor will play right but he came in during the year).

Not to mention Maurice Jones-Drew may no longer be a Jaguar..

I want to remain positive / optimistic and drink the teal kool aid so I do feel as if things are really going the right direction now but ... we could both be wrong.. just saying.

I can't wait to see how this will play out.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

The only thing that genuinly feels different is Gus Bradley, IMO.
