Jags trade down.

#1

What would it take?  What's the scenario?

I could see the Jags trading back to 6 (unless Atlanta trades up to 2) and getting an extra third rounder.  But a team at 12 or 16?  32?  What would you need by way of compensation to drop back in this draft and how far would you go?

Only a chump boos the home team!

we don't speak of such things here

I want 3 players. Clowney, Bridgewater, Manziel. Jaguars have the number 3 pick. Just give me one of those 3 at 3, and I'm happy.

I wouldn't mind trading down to 6, if we can get at least a 2nd round and 3rd round from the Falcons.  It's not about moving up how many spots, it's going to be about who is there (Clowney).  Trade down to 6th for hopefully Mack or Bridgewater and get an extra 2 starters would be ideal.

We've already got 10 picks. It's time to get some studs

So there are no studs past a certain point? What's the cutoff point?

What lies behind us, and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.

What I am hoping for (and maybe its a pipe dream) but A swap of picks 3 & 6 with Atlanta, and then the Jags gaining Atlanta's 1st rounder in 2015, as well as another pick for the 2014 draft.

I'd love to trade back to 6 and pick up Khalil Mack and a 3rd rounder.  A 3rd round this year is like a 2nd round pick.

BORTLES ISN'T A FRANCHISE QB. FOURNETTE WILL BE A BUST.

I'd think the price would be steeper than just a 3rd rounder.

Yeah definitely. We traded from 16 to 10 for a 2nd rounder so I'm sure a 6 to 3 jump would cost a second and a 4th
