Rumor has it the dolphins are floating his name around to be traded! Me personally I wouldn't give up anything higher than a 3rd round pick but anxious to see if he actually gets traded. Miami is the completely the wrong system for him so I'm not going to say he's a bust just yet.

I'd have a real hard time believing that rumor. Why trade him? Was he so bad that they are ready to dump him after one season?

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

There is a new GM but yeah, I have my doubts too.

Did you see where Miami would take a $12 million Cap hit?!?! Holy cow, there's no way this thing has any merit to it.

Twitter is now saying he's in stage 1 of the substance abuse program, even though it is supposed to be strictly confidential, so who knows. I loved him in the draft and with no extra unknown baggage I would happily give pick 39 for him. I would be shocked if it happened though.

In other news, Joe Philbin does not know anything about the ongoing efforts to trade Dion Jordan.

If we decide to get a non-DE at #3 and there aren't any competent pass rushers at #39, I'd consider trading our second rounder on draft day. Miami will have paid a ton of his salary, so there's minimal monetary risk. I think he'd work well in the LEO spot on our defense.

Not sure Miami would be willing to part with him for just a second though.

They misused him last year. I'd give the 2nd rounder in a heart beat.

I wonder what kind of grade Caldwell and Co. had on him for last year's draft.

If the substance abuse issue was true and not some horse poop thrown in there to drag the price down by one of the interested teams , I'd steer clear. We already are dealing with unknown substance abuse from Blackmon and a potential strike 3 at any given time. But if the substance abuse claims have no validity, then I'd be fine with the Jags persuing him for maybe a 2nd rounder.

Bridgewater + Dion Jordan would be a nice top 2 picks.

Would be surprised but stranger things have happened.

That said, I'd give them a 4th for him.

I believe another team such as the Eagles, Ravens, Texans, Patriots, etc etc will give up a 2nd or 3rd for Jordan. A 4th won't get it done.

I'd think it would be high. Great fit at SLB for this defense with the added bonus if lining up as a Leo on occasion.

Yeah I didnt like him last year either.  I wanted Joeckel or Star.  I wouldnt give up our 2nd for him.  I would also rather have Dee Flord
