Dqwell Jackson

Not saying to bring him to Jacksonville, but he has been a very solid underrated mlb for the brown past seven years. Very surprised he was cut today!

He had a good career, but he's been trending down for a couple years now...not counting the injuries even. He probably has a couple more years as a semi contributor, but won't even be an average starter at this point.

Despite his high tackle total, D'Qwell Jackson had the 2nd-worst @PFF run defense grade of any ILB over the last 2 seasons.

We have a better MLB, unless he feels like playing OLB we shouldn't have any interest

Oh ya I'm not saying we should go after him, just he's a solid mlb I didn't expect to be cut this year.

I didn't realize that! Dang he was the star player to come from my high school, graduated about 8 years before me and was the player all of my coaches talked about. Probably will find a new home on a short contract

Yeah he should go be a fringe starter/solid backup for a contender.

His play has been declining for a couple of years now, and he's approaching the big 3-0. Not exactly the type of guy that too many teams will throw lots of money at. I could see him landing with someone post-draft who isn't quite sure about a projected starter at ILB, and is looking for insurance.

When I was in elementary school I got head lice. The special shampoo I used to get rid of it was called Qwell. For this reason, I am against bringing him to Jax.
Only a chump boos the home team!

I don't have a problem with that.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Signed with the colts today and got paid! 4yr/22mill with 11 mil guaranteed

Wow I'm glad the Colts paid him and not us. I like him but I'm surprised at this point in his career that he is getting a 4 year deal with half of it guaranteed.

This wreaks to me of a Clint Session type signing. I hope it ends better for Dqwell he's a good player but father time never loses.

How did the Colts figure he was worth that much?

It's what happens when a lot of teams are flush with cap space to begin with and then the entire league gets a bonus almost 10 mil with the cap number rising. Gonna be a lot of eye popping contracts handed out.
