Ranking the QBs after their Combine workouts

#1

Which QBs were this weekend's biggest winners and losers?

How much did they help or hurt their stock?

I think Bortles helped his stock a lot. Bridewater might have hurt his stock, not due to talent or work ethic, but not doing anything at the combine.

Just going to guess that not many people will change the top of their rankings based on the combine.

Exactly the same for me as it was before the combine.  Nothing changed at all and Teddy not throwing or running is not an issue at all.  Bill Polian touched on it on some show I was watching late last night and said he had zero problem as a scout with Teddy not throwing.  Would it have been nice to see him throw, yes it would have, but it isn't going to hurt his draft stock at all in my opinion and it shouldn't.

Teddy helped himself at the combine with his measurements.  If his medical checked out and he handled the interviews well that's what really matters.

I don't think anything changed for the big 3, the late round guys may have shifted a little but for the big 3 the combine is meaningless for the most part.

For teams, the combine didnt change anything. Unless there were medical issues or character red flags, which none of them seem to have, there is no real movement on the draft board.

I wasn't high on Carr as a #3 overall, but if they can get him with the second rounder I'm cool with that.  For me it's Manziel, Bridgewater, Bortles, Carr in that order probably.  Right now, your 4 through 10 are pretty interchangeable for me depending on what type of QB you want.  If they can grab a guy in mid-late round who they think has a chance to start over Henne, that's at least something.

I think McCarron answered some questions by throwing yesterday and he looked pretty good in the process.

No major changes. My ranks:

1. Teddy

gap

2. Bortles

3. Carr

4. Manziel

big gap

5. Logan Thomas (as a day 3 pick to develop for a year and then switch to TE if not much improvement is shown)

6. Aaron Murray (still on the fence, I think he has a slight chance to be better than QB purgatory)

Don't want anyone else unless there's a clear understanding they're merely a stopgap until a real franchise prospect is drafted next year.

No Garoppolo? I'd have him ahead of the likes of Thomas and Murray.
