I think it is obvious the Buccaneers want to trade the pick. Lovie talked about bringing in a veteran to back up a good starter. How do you get a veteran quarterback? Trade the pick, of course.

That's what I would take from it.  Mike's a good QB to continue to develop.  Obviously, anyone grooming a QB on the job would prefer an established veteran as a backup.  It's typically how it's done.

He plays great under center. He hands the ball off well, and can throw for first downs pretty good as well.
