For or subscribing to the "wait till next year to take a QB" theme here is something interesting to consider...

If we're in position for Winston in 2 years, I wonder who we'll be hiring as our new head coach.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Because Winston will be the only QB eligible to declare next year.

Also, I think it's [BAD WORD REMOVED] anyway. He's saying that now as he's on cloud 9, but I do not see him sitting there come December and really deciding to stay after realizing he's accomplished everything he can at the collegiate level already and is assured a top 2 pick in the draft.

Why would anybody want to wait? We have a quarterback emergency. You know what The Mad Dog always said about that: The most important thing to do is get a quarterback.

He'd have to improve quite a bit to be assured a top 2 pick next year.

We always have a quarterback emergency. That's because we do not block. We have a blocker emergency.

I'm tired of waiting.

"Wait til next year" happens every year. And I bet people will be saying the same thing next year as well.
