Hawks to resign Bennett

Looks like that potential free agent is off the list. Someone in the O zone had mentioned the pass rusher Johnson i think from Cinncy that had a great season last year but also fits Caldwell's vision so maybe that's an alterative.

The article mentions the obvious, that they would like to have him back in Seattle, and know that it will take more than this season's one year deal. Wanting him and willing to pay him a very large multi-year deal (or tag) are different items. It will be interesting to see if they can get him signed before free agency starts.

I think if they say that he's a priority it'll most likely happen. On a side note, who does Seattle have that they're paying huge contracts to? They have thomas and sherman next year with Wilson the year after or two. Off the top of my head lynch is the only one I can think of and I don't know his current salary or their cap space.
