How do you feel he has a low ceiling?


If anything his ceiling is higher than everyone elses...


1. Needs to add 15-20 pounds

2. Will increase arm strength and velocity even further (already has a stronger arm than Bortles)

3. 4.6 and under speed

4. not perfect mechanically, especially lower body torque

5. Deep balls need better timing

6. Already understands more about the pro game than Manziel and Bortles combined

There is zero chance the Texans will trade with a division rival trying to pick the same player. Now trading wth the Browns could be an option because they reportedly don't want the same quarterback. However, the Texans have to love picking before the Jaguars, so I don't see that happening. The only way we can get Teddy Bridgewater is a lot of luck and prayers.

Did they really say they are not interested in Bridgewater? Saying they like Bortles does not mean there is no interest in Bridgewater. Until someone says, "Bortles is better than Bridgewater," the team is interested in both quarterbacks.

I remember that year Alex Smith was expected to be the #1 pick, not Aaron Rodgers. It was like Tim Couch, MIchael Vick, and David Carr - everyone knew who the top pick would be.

 

The 49ers must have regretted not picking Rodgers when it was obvious Smith is just a an overrated game manager.

They very well could take him, nobody but the Texans have a single clue who they're going to take. Which I doubt they have even made up that decision yet.

 

Not true at all about everybody wanting to trade up to get him. The QB class behind Luck and RG3 wasn't as good as this year's class. This class is a much deeper class then the 2012 QB. A lot of people looked at it like Luck, RG3 or bust. Which in turn made some teams force their hands, AKA Redskins who got robbed blind.

It was Bridgewater or Clowney for the consensus #1 pick for a long, long time. Then Louisville lost a game and their BCS hopes went bye bye. The media stopped talking about Bridgewater, so his hype died down. You're the one who has no clue what you're talking about.
