Why the Texans will not pick Johnny Manziel
|
Here is a good article about why Johnny Manziel would not be a good fit in Houston, which goes on to say he is overrated and should be a second round pick.

This is about Johnny Manziel not being a good fit for Bill O'Brien's offense. Did you even read the article?
I don't think it was hard to understand why they wouldn't. A more useful article would be on why they would.

Some people were saying earlier Manziel might go #1 because nobody knew what type of offense Bill O'Brien is going to install. We show less advertisements to registered users. Nobody? He has quite a bit of history. As soon as he was hired people knew what his prefered QB type was given he scouted Christian Hackenberg.

His refusal to combine quarterbacks with the rest of his ratings suggests he's incapable of doing so. If he can not properly rank quarterbacks as football players, he's a crack-pot.

He's not a fit for the Texans because they're gonna want someone who runs their system their way, not some one who improvises. And everything thats said to make Manziel overrated is exactly whats missing from Gabbert. So....

So....Everything Manziel does is intentional. lol who was it that said that play where he ran back 20 yards and threw that lob against Bama showcased his intelligence?

Quote:Round value does not translate to NFL success. But a player's chances of success are much higher if he is a first round pick. |
