The jags are in the news again

#61

The media covering sports is just as lazy as the regular media covering "news".  They don't care about the Jaguars.  The positive press this summer was good but the team didn't deliver.  It will take many many wins for this team to get a passing glance again.

It is sad when you read their stories about the LA Fans enduring years without a team to only have a disappointing returning team that is uncompetitive.  Did anyone think the Rams were going to be world beaters this year?  It is hard enough to have an offseason program let alone one where you move across the country.

Quote:  I strongly believe that I've learned a great amount from Snowwolf over the years,  including things that are even more important than the results of NFL games  ( which i care greatly about. ).
Snow is a lot smarter than and has more insight into many things that most of us miss. We could all learn a great deal from each other if we could stop 'hearing' and actually listen to what people say.

I totally agree with everything you expressed here.

Everyday reading one or more posts on the Message Board /  Forum provides excellent learning opportunities in many different ways.

The Rams just moved back to Los Angeles this year. Then they made a blockbuster trade for their next franchise quarterback. Those are legitimate reasons to be in the news a lot despite sucking the last 5 years. Nobody expected a team that just extended its crappy head coach for two years to be world beaters. However many people did expect that top pick they traded up for to start on Day 1 against the 49ers before he struggled in preseason.

Coming from a background in broadcasting all news analyst including sports.  And being I was from ct and been in ESPN Headquarters does in fact follow tv prompters on information.   So really many have the smarts of message board posters.

It is easy to believe cause you don't see it.
