I'm wondering the same thing. Technically, they won the challenge if they had to move the spot of the ball.

 

To win a challenge related to the spot of the ball, the change in ball position must result in a first down. The referees moved it forward based on what they saw on the video, then measured. The measurement didn't result in a first down, so Seattle lost the challenge.

If Seattle keeps this time of possession up, this will result in Denver's Defense giving up more than field goals... I have honestly been impressed with Denver's Defense because of how little help their offense has given them.
