Mile Marker 420 Becomes 419.99 to Thwart Thieves
Colorado officials think a difference of one-hundredth of a mile will be enough to stop thieves from stealing the mile marker 420 sign along Interstate 70. If I were the type to steal a road sign because it read "420," I'm pretty sure "419.99" would be in my sights as well. But alas, I am not.
I did steal a "Hunter Thompson rd" sign once when I was 20, but... Who wouldn't?
