Mock draft with trades

I would hate this mock - Cleveland trades the Texans both of their #1's to jump 3 spots....and the Texans still get Manziel.

That would suck.

There is no reason the Texans would do it. They know the Browns need a quarterback too. Chances are very good, however, the Browns will trade with the Rams, whose support of Sam Bradford was reinforced here:

If the Browns leapfrog us and pick Manziel, will we have to wait until Round 2 to pick a quarterback?

4 quarterbacks in a row?  I'm sorry, I can't take any mock seriously that does that.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Especially this year with only one quarterback truly worth picking in the top five.

Great looking draft IMO. Not realistic, but we get bortles and the texans dont get teddy.

Why would you rather have Bortles than Bridgewater?

I'd rather have Teddy, and I keep thinking there's a reasonable chance he makes it to the #3 spot.

I don't see the reasonable chance

The only way it happens is if Houston decide they have something in case Keenum in which case they go de/ot and they can't find a trade partner

Cleveland swops with st Louis which is the trade i.see waiting to.happen and are sold on another QB

Considering the number of QB needy teams in the top 8 t I cannot see Houston being unable to.trade if so inclined

I also cannot see Houston and their trade partner and Cleveland all overlooking Bridgewater as the consensus top QB in the class

I say we trade it to Cleveland for their #1s and take Watkins and Dennard.

I know I am in the minority, but I don't see Houston trading out of the 1-1 pick and risk a superior QB selection unless they can get a blockbuster RGIII-type deal. Moving down to 1-4 and picking up the later first just does not seem enough to give up QB1 for QB4 in this draft.

I made it to the Vikings trading up to two overall for Derek Carr, then I started laughing too hard to continue.

You say this based on something you heard someone say... right?

Fine with me, I like Bortles and don't think Manziel will be successful in the NFL

The browns are rebuilding. I feel like there is too much value in two first round picks to move up for any QB but Teddy who will be off the board likely. I doubt Cleveland trades either picks. If anyone trades up it will probably be for Clowney.

That one was pretty funny, wasn't it?? We can only hope someone would trade up to 2 with the intention of taking Carr.

They've been rebuilding since the 90's.

4 QB's with the first 4 picks.  NEVER. GONNA. HAPPEN.  One of the stupidest mocks I've seen.

Am I the only one that hopes the Jags steer clear of Bortles (and Carr)??

I'm totally with you on Carr. I wouldn't mind Bortles after a certain spot in the first round. Just don't want him at 3. It would be overdrafting him. Better value would still be on the board.
