I can't say my picks since I'm in first place in the pick'em. Somebody might steal my secrets.

  • Seattle,
  • Carolina in a close one,
  • New England with the home win,
  • San Diego with the shocker.

I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.

Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say!

Saints will lose to Seattle due to the noise in a close game.

49ers will lose to the Panthers due to Cam Newton's performance alone.

Colts will upset the Patriots due to Luck's ability & being lucky.

Chargers will be humiliated in Denver due to Peyton's arm.

The home teams

But I will not be shocked if the Chargers and 49ers win.

I'm going:

Seahawks over the Saints.

49ers over the Panthers

Chargers over the Broncos

Colts over the Patriots

That last one is mostly wishful thinking on my part.

I was wrong about Trent Baalke.

Phil The Thrill shocks the world and ends Manning's season early.

Phil the Thrill has always seemed to be a thorn in the clots and now the Broncos' sides.

All the home sides I reckon

49ers are the only team I see causing an "upset"

Next question: Who do you all want to win?

I am rooting for the Panthers because the 49ers advanced by beating the Packers.

I don't care if the Seahawks lose this week or next week. I just want them to miss the Super Bowl if the Broncos get in.

Every time the Patriots are in the playoffs, I want them to lose. Go Colts.

You all know who I will root for in the other game, so I don't need to say it.

I'll generally take the better quarterback in each game if there is a clear difference between the two with the exception of the Denver game.  I think the criticism of his playoff record is in Peyton's head.  His big, jug-shaped head.

New Orleans

Carolina

New England

San Diego

1. Panthers

2. Chargers

3. Seahawks

4. Saints

5. Broncos

6. Colts

7. 49ers

8. Patriots

You'd really want our expansion rivals to win the SB before we do?

Not me, the Panthers would be towards the bottom of that list for me, right with the Broncos.

I have friends that are Panthers fans.  If the Jags can't win a super bowl, I'm not going to be spiteful and hope that my friends teams don't win one either.

That and it's not much of a rivalry in the first place anymore. Some Panthers fans I've spoken with view the Jags as a sort of kindred clan more than a rivalry.

Not me. I hate the Panthers almost as much as I hate the 3 AFCS rivals.

I don't want to see any of them win a SB. Ever.
