Teddy for all. Vince Leftwich needs to prove it on an offense that doesn't have future draft picks at all starting positions.
LEONARD FOURNETTE FAN CLUB PRESIDENT. I WAS BEHIND HIM WHEN YOU ALL SAID HE WAS BRANDON JACOBS. QUIT HATING ON THE JAGUARS. GUS IS GONE. COUGHLIN HAS RESTORED ORDER. FOURNETTE IS FRED TAYLOR. DONT BELIEVE ME JUST WATCH.
Interesting topic and poll, JWDY. Nicely done. Will be really cool to necro-bump in 3 years or so.

What in the Wide Wide World of Sports is agoin' on here???
Something to at least consider......
Winston might choose to play another professional sport other than football. #33

Winston>>>>Teddy. Not even really close. I guarantee every GM would take Winston before Teddy.
Quote:Teddy for all. Vince Leftwich needs to prove it on an offense that doesn't have future draft picks at all starting positions. Funny, I see more Leftwich in Teddy than Winston. Leftwich was amazing in college. Could make any throw, anywhere, anytime. Double coverage, triple coverage, didn't matter. NFL being a fraction of a second faster, his game simply didn't translate. A mere fraction of a second was all the difference that mattered. That's similar to what I see in Teddy. A child in a child's body who will be exposed when he plays against men. A bridge too far.

Neither are really titans. Jameis still has a lot to learn and Teddy is not what people hype him up to be on the internet.

Quote:Funny, I see more Leftwich in Teddy than Winston. So it wasn't the long, drawn-out throwing motion or how he was virtually immobile in the pocket that didn't do Leftwich in? Both of which, shock of all shocks, Jameis has and not Teddy? :whistling: Quote:So it wasn't the long, drawn-out throwing motion or how he was virtually immobile in the pocket that didn't do Leftwich in? I was given a warning for this, but ya'll people have no clue on how to evaluate a qb
Accuracy: Teddy > Jameis Arm Strength: Teddy > Jameis qbing ability: Teddy > Jameis Size: Jameis > Teddy College competition: Jameis > Teddy Now this is Jameis right now, however with another 2 years of seasoning he will most like be just as good or possibly even better than Teddy in most of these categories Hard to say, but Bridgewater and Manziel are easily the two best qbs in the nation

I don't think that it's a fair comparison, but it does make for good pondering.
Right now I think Bridgewater is a better college player and pro prospect than Winston, but that's because he has what Winston does not; experience. Teddy has chops at the NCAA level and that's due to his playing time, something Winston hasn't had an opportunity to acquire yet. Will Winston be a better college player at the same point in their careers as Teddy? I think he will based on his physical skill set alone. As he ages and develops, his arm will get stronger and he'll probably bulk up that frame a little bit. That's something that Teddy won't have, but that's not to say that Bridgewater is any kind of slouch at his position. As for the NFL career, I'm just not willing to speculate on that. Winston still has another year of play before that is even a possibility. If I had to guess, I would say Winston simply because I think he may last longer than Bridgewater, but that is by no means concrete. The draft selection is tied to my first comment/irrational ranting above; we don't know because they are at different points in their careers and it's a little tough to synch them up. If Winston continues on his arc and stays at FSU for two more seasons and he and Bridgewater were in the same class, I think you would take Winston every day of the week, twice on Sunday, and never look back. However, that's assuming that Winston has not peaked and is driven to improve himself as a football player. Great poll though, thanks for posting this!
I'm trying to make myself more informed and less opinionated.
Stop saying whatever stupid thing you're talking about and pay attention to all the interesting things I have to say! Quote:Winston is a non prospect baseball player. Quote:Or he might go to jail,,,,,if he keeps having off field incidents like the one investigated this past season.... Your crystal balls are perfectly clear. I'll have to work on upgrading mine from a cloudy and cracked model. In the end though, your balls are still made out of crystal. #33
